Due to its construction and nanotechnology feature, it is able to provide ultra-high surface area media which cuts down on the volume of biomedia actually required for efficient nutrient cycling.

This unique ceramic media has a unique cross-cutting surface area that creates an ideal surface for a dense population of beneficial bacteria that removes ammonia and nitrites from your aquarium’s water. Some systems may also notice a decrease in nitrates.
